Okay. I forgot to take pictures of the main parts of the house (I will later) but I do have a few from my room. When we lived there before it was a deep red. The renters changed it to this pale sage-y color. I can't decide if I want to keep it or change it.
The thing is, Madeline's room is a lime green (with pink accents) and I had planned on also painting the kitchen a shade of green (Sherwin Williams' "Haven.")
Can you have three different green rooms in just one small house? I don't know!

M - How did you DO that so fast! Your room looks great! Do you have a magic wand? Actually, I really like the celery green, and I think it looks especially good with the deep wood of your room's furniture. And the lighter color may make the room seem larger.
I second that opinion- it does make your room look huge compared to before! I am a "green person" so I don't think you can have too much green, especially if you accent well with other colors. Just my $0.02. :)
I think the brown and the green work well together! And if you like green, then who cares if you have three green rooms! I say go for it!
i LOVE the color combination and think it's beautiful...
I agree too! If your bedroom isn't that big, I would think that a deep red would close it in...and Green has SO many fun shades, I don't think it would be too repetitive, in my opinion. By the way, where are you going for your fun getaway???
My house in not big by any means I have three room all in different shades of green.
I like that shade of green, though, I am not sure what the red looked like.
Love the green, like Brite said, it looks a lot bigger with the lighter color than when it was red. And, I think with different furniture (table, coffee pot, bed, crib) they'll all look good even if you stick with green. In a few years you'll want to change things up a bit anyways.
I can't believe your house already looks like that. You are amazing! You already have decor hanging on the walls. I can't wait to see pictures from the rest of the house. I have decorated with various shades of green in my house. I just switched my kitchen to sage green to red. I found that red is really hard to match (and it clashes easily) where green can have different shades and still look good with everything.
Looks great! My room is chocolate brown too! Feels so romantic! I like the celery color, my walls are taupe! I think that you can whatever colors you want in your home. Whatever makes you feel happy, comfortable and at peace!
Yep, it looks WAY bigger then it looked red....keep the green :o)
I love it...keep it!!!
