I managed Wal-mart, Target, Aldi, and Bi-Lo by myself with the kids today. And believe me, it was no easy feat.
Drew and Madeline (to my utter horror and embarrassment) ran like mad around the aisles at Aldi, completely heedless to my calling their names. I almost started pretending I had never seen them before.
Whose kids are those? (With disdain.)
WHERE IS YOUR MOTHER?
Anyway, I had to get the items on my list, otherwise I probably would have just hauled everyone back out to the car. Thankfully, we pulled into the drive just as Andy got home and he, bless his soul, took them straightaway to the playground.
I made pasta and red sauce (otherwise known as spaghetti) for dinner and whenever we eat that, Adelaide is sure to need a bath. I plopped her in, only to hear her wailing a few minutes later.
I don't even need to tell you what she did. It's been well documented here.
After that cleanup, I let Madeline get into the tub. She said she had to go potty, so I picked her up out of the bath and set her on the toilet, and somehow she managed to pee all over my hand.
Yeah.

Bless your heart! What a major mess!!!
Hee hee! Oh, Moriah, bless your heart. 10 years from now, they will all 3 die of mortal embarrassment if you even MENTION that you EVER breast-fed them. Your familiarity with their more personal functions will be short-lived!
M-I cannot believe you made it to all four of those places in one day! I would have to be institutionalized after all that. I'm glad you came home in tact. Seriously.
Isn't it amazing that God can be glorified by wiping bums all day long? hahaha
Sorry but I kinda laughed out loud. Only because I know your pain LOL
Oh my! It WAS one of those days.
My kids have already gone back to school, which makes me sad.
However, the greatest part about school aged children going off to school, is the ability to shop A.L.O.N.E.
That is awesome!
Happy Tuesday!
I'm just still super impressed with your shopping feat! I get scared to go out shopping with just ONE kid...next year is gonna be interesting!
Oh wow ... three stores! You are my hero.
PS - I, too, like to pretend the heathens running around the store aren't mine, but sadly, they usually are ...
tub-pooper. and that's all i'm sayin'.
