I had a bunch of errands to run today so I bribed my kids with the purchase of a kiddie pool for their good behavior while out shopping.
It mostly worked.
But, really, I would have bought one anyway because IT IS HOT.
I blew it up with my hair dryer (on cold shot) and an extension cord. (I know, I'm full of genius ideas!) I even got in it with the kids because did I mention it is hot?
It's hot.
And tonight Andy held down the homefront while I did the errands I couldn't do with kids in tow. And I have a little confession.
I bought some paint.
I could not help myself.
What can I say? I'm an all-or-nothing kind of girl. (When it comes to home decorating, anyway.)

We did this a few weeks ago with the blow up pool we bought. Started out using a hand pump and that was going slow so hubs had the idea of using the blow dryer! Genius!
But the pool lasted maybe 2 weeks because it started growing green slime in the bottom and since I am not fond of slime, I dumped out the water and threw it in the trash. Not very frugalicious of me, but I have my limits LOL
Paint eh? For which room??
I told John I'd move back to the south if I could have a house with an inground pool in the backyard. That's my stipulation. Cause it's stinkin' hot down there.
