Whenever I visit her (or she visits me), I'm always amazed at my mom's selflessness, diligence, and generosity. She certainly puts me to shame.
She's exceedingly disciplined about reading her Bible and walking for exercise in the mornings (and has even taken my kids with her in my double stroller a few times this week). She sees to all sorts of other things that make life run smoothly for everyone else and I never hear her complain. In fact, she goes out of her way to be helpful. She's a blessing to others.
She sometimes reminds me of a little worker ant. I hope I have that kind of energy and cheerful attitude when I'm a grandmother!
(And also her shoe collection.)

I have seem your Mom in action and I certainly agree. Grandma's are sure a blessing to us Mom's of young children, as I know first hand :o)
What a sweet tribute- and I can testify to its veracity as well- and it was even sweeter to his "old girl" to hear a young girl honor her mother is such a lovely way! Roses to you for being so appreciative. You are blessed in many ways because of it.
(And, I suspect, when you are "in your mother's shoes," you will be like her.)
What a great tribute to your mother. I always loved her. She has such a sweet spirit about herself. But, don't cut yourself short....you follow directly in her foot steps :)
